Safelite® Group Ranks No. 7 in 2013 Best Employers in North Carolina Program
RALEIGH, N.C. – Feb. 25, 2013 - Safelite AutoGlass®, a multi-faceted vehicle glass and claims management service organization, recently ranked No. 7 in the 2013 Best Employers in North Carolina recognition program. The list of the www.pageturnpro.com/Best-Companies-Group/48348-Best-Employers-in-North-Carolina-2013/index.html#/1 was created by Business North Carolina, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – NC State Council, and Best Companies Group.
The statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in North Carolina, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. The 2013 Best Employers in North Carolina list is made up of 21 companies.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Employers in North Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in North Carolina and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings. In North Carolina, Safelite® Group employs 485 associates throughout its aftermarket windshield manufacturing facility based in Enfield and 29 Safelite AutoGlass® repair and replacement locations.
