Safelite AutoGlass Opening Two New Locations in Boston Market for 19 Total
BOSTON – Safelite AutoGlass® continues to invest in the Boston area, opening two new store locations this summer with plans to hire additional technicians in the fall. Safelite currently employs 260 people in greater Boston. Thanks to growing customer preference, Safelite is opening shops just north of downtown and in Worchester County.
Located at 39 Massachusetts Ave., the Lunenburg location opened July 21, 2016. The 5,200-square-foot facility includes a comfortable customer waiting room with Wi-Fi. It will provide faster service to the Leominster, Lunenburg, Fitchburg and Gardner communities that previously were served through one of Safelite’s many MobileGlassShopsTM.
Scott Clark serves as the store manager overseeing a team of five.
On September 19, 2016, Safelite plans to open its Everett store located at 1783 Revere Beach Parkway. It will add 7,000 square-feet for inventory, a customer lobby, and two more service bays to Safelite’s footprint. It is conveniently located just five miles north of downtown Boston.
Vincent Micozzi will serve as the store manager with 12 employees.
Safelite customers can receive a quote or schedule service at safelite.com or by calling 1-800-800-2727. Both in-shop and mobile service appointments are available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the Boston community for all their auto glass repair and replacement needs,” said Safelite’s District Manager Steve Koos. “Customer service is our priority at Safelite AutoGlass and that means we have to be prepared to repair or replace a customer’s vehicle glass when and where they need it, so we’re happy to offer more options with the opening of these stores.”
Safelite is a proud sponsor of the Boston Red Sox and frequently supports local charitable organizations including the local Make-a-Wish chapter and MassGeneral Hospital for Children’s Aspire program.
