Safelite AutoGlass Contributes $20,000 Regional Impact Grants to 10 Charities
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ten charities across the country are receiving $20,000 regional impact grants from the Safelite AutoGlass Foundation, thanks to its annual 2015 Charitable Golf Classic fundraiser!
The charitable organizations receiving $20,000 include:
- Boys & Girls Ranches of Alabama
- Camp Sunshine (Maine)
- Epilepsy Foundation of Mississippi
- Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home (Texas)
- Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House (California)
- Make-A-Wish Philadelphia
- Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland
- The Miracle League of Sioux City
- Utah Food Bank
- Youth Automotive Training Center (Florida)
To select these charities, Safelite AutoGlass Foundation board members reviewed submissions from district leaders across the country. Considerations included the organization’s objectives and estimated outcome of the use of the $20,000, the measureable impact to the community it serves, and how closely the objectives align with the Foundation’s mission – to support organizations that promote the health and well-being of families and the communities in which we live and work.
Impact grants are designed to carry some weight compared to splitting funds up into smaller amounts, allowing charities to have a greater influence to make a difference.

District leader John Penn was happy to present the check to the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House in California. “It’s rewarding to know that we’re able to help families who are going through a hard time,” he shared.
Alisa Cooley, the operations manager in the Safelite AutoGlass Jackson market, was equally thrilled to present their check to the Epilepsy Foundation of Mississippi, where she also serves as board member. She shared, “It feels great to give back and be on the frontline to see the impact it makes. This grant will help the organization continue to provide those living with seizure disorders programs and services free of charge. I’m glad I can be a part of increasing our outreach.”
