Safelite AutoGlass® Appoints Three New General Managers in the East
COLUMBUS, Ohio – May 13, 2013 - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has hired Mark Zickos as general manager for the Atlanta market and James White as general manager for Chesapeake, Va., and has promoted David Brown to general manager for Richmond, Va.
· Brown has been with Safelite® since 2007 and previously served as warehouse manager for the Eastern Florida market. Throughout his career, he has established a track record for transforming underperforming warehouses into those among the top performing in their division. In addition, Brown previously served eight years in the Army Reserves as a field medic.
· White has a 20-year proven track record of exceeding expectations and delivering extraordinary results. He previously worked at PepsiCo, where he was director of market unit operations. In that role, he was responsible for sales and warehouse operations in Virginia and produced significant operational improvements that resulted in cost savings for the company. As a result, his unit was ranked number one in cost and productivity performance.
· Zickos spent 26 years in different leadership roles with the Frito-Lay Division of PepsiCo and helped the company achieve extraordinary results. He was a key part of the leadership team that established Frito-Lay’s largest distribution facility in Perry, GA.
