Safelite Aims to Raise $8,500 in Walk-For-Wishes®
HARRISBURG, Penn. – Oct. 5, 2011 Local employees of Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading provider of vehicle repair and replacement services, are participating in the first annual Walk-For-Wishes® fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley chapter, which grants wishes for kids between the age of 2 ½ to 18 that have been diagnosed with a life threatening illness in central Pennsylvania.
The Walk-For-Wishes® fundraiser is being held at City Island on October 23, 2011.
Of Safelite’s 150 Harrisburg-area employees, 43 are participating in the two-mile walk along with many friends and family for a total of 108 walkers, with a goal of raising $8,500 goal.
