Carson Grand Opening
CARSON, Calif. - Safelite AutoGlass®, the nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has opened a store located at 16422 Avalon Blvd., on the northeast corner of Avalon and Gardena.
The Safelite® store will be managed by Eddie Gonzalez and will have an initial staff of six employees. The new facility provides 8,500 square feet to stock more than 1,200 vehicle glass parts. Safelite’s service in the South Bay area has historically been limited to next-day mobile replacement and repair. The new facility will now enable the company to provide same day and convenient in-shop appointments.
The opening of the Carson store is a part of Safelite’s plan to improve and grow the Southern California region. Since 2009, Safelite® has developed a number of initiatives to provide unrivaled customer service, technical quality, and time to serve for all Southern California customers. In addition to opening the Redlands store, the company has also:
- In 2009, Safelite opened its second-largest distribution center in Ontario, California.
- In 2010, Safelite opened its third national contact center in Phoenix, Ariz.
- In 2011, Safelite will open 10 new locations throughout Southern California.
- In 2011, Safelite will relocate three other existing locations to improve customer visibility and waiting areas, glass storage, and employee amenities.
Safelite® customers in the Inland Empire and elsewhere can receive a quote or schedule service 24/7 at safelite.com or by calling 1-800-800-ASAP (2727). Both in-shop and mobile vehicle glass service appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
