What motivated you to apply with Safelite? I was impressed with Safelite’s good reputation as a nationwide company that continues to grow. The job description itself also appealed to me – I’m semi-retired and thought a part-time position that utilized my people skills would work well.
What’s the best thing about your role day to day? Without a doubt, the people are the best part of my role! Whether it is the customers I talk to on the phone or the job coaches and fellow associates I work with day to day, I really enjoy my job.
What does his leader say about him? Don is a valuable resource for my entire team. He brings decades of business knowledge, and I often seek our Don’s perspective when I encounter an obstacle. From within, he leads our team by example.
What’s the most memorable experience you’ve had at Safelite? Becoming a part of a team led by someone I respect has made every day a memorable one for me. We have a great team with a lot of people who are fun to work with.
Outside of work, what are you passionate about? I’m especially passionate about spending time with my grandchildren – I have four between the ages of 11 and 17 years old. I also enjoy travel and sports.
Just for fun: What song/artist would get you energized to start the day? I especially enjoy the song American Idiot by Green Day. I listen to that whenever I need a burst of energy.
